Canada’s first regulated Crypto exchange
As team lead, I designed our two most requested features: staking, so users can earn rewards on their crypto, and coin swaps, which cut down fees and speed up trades.
From beta feedback, it was clear that trust was key. We responded by designing simple, transparent flows, surfacing timely insights, and rewarding loyalty with engaging experiences.

Earning rewards in your crypto
To put it very (very) simply, staking lets you use your crypto to earn more crypto. With just a few taps, users can stake their coins and start earning. Rewards are deposited automatically into their accounts.

Staking 2.0: More coins, new pages and auto-staking
We released staking for Cardano and Polkadot, and also implemented auto-staking for all of our staking coins. Additionally, we redesigned each coin's dedicated page to highlight the most relevant details for our users. We made sure these pages included scalable design patterns, further building our brand presence.
Bringing clarity and delight through a rewards center
We added a centralized hub, place where users can easily view and track the total amount of staking rewards they’ve earned across a variety of coins. In addition to being able to view their lifetime rewards, users are also given the convenience of staking directly from this page. If they don't already own a particular coin, they are first taken through the purchase flow before being routed to the staking flow
Cutting users crypto trading fees in half with crypto swaps
Crypto coin swaps let users trade one cryptocurrency for another without converting to fiat currency. With access to over 90 trading pairs, clients save on fees and complete transactions faster through a seamless one-step experience.
Results
Increased staking engagement: Clients staked more assets after we launched Cardano, Polkadot, and auto-staking.
High swap adoption: Clients used coin swaps as a faster, lower-fee way to trade crypto.
Improved trading efficiency: Swaps reduced friction by removing the need to convert to fiat.
Strengthened client trust: Simpler flows and better rewards deepened engagement and loyalty.
